Mk3 Cabrio Body
The mk3 cabrio body is very similar to a mk3 gti, bleow the belt line. The most significant difference is that the fenders and doors are specific to cabrios. The front end is nearly identicle to all other mk3's. the front bumper, radiator support and hood are all identical to MK3 Golf/GTI. The rear end is similar to mk3 golf and GTI's, it uses the same tail lights and bumpers.
Mk3.5 Cabrio Body
The Mk3.5 cabrio body is almost enirely unique from the earlier mk3 cabrio. It has different bumpers, radiator support, fenders, hood, grill, trunk, lights and mirrors. The mk3.5 uses the same doors as the mk3 cabrio.
The Badges of an Mk3.5 are also unique to their specific models. There are no centering holes, or indented body behind the badging. Like on most other Jetta's and VW's. This means badges can be removed easily and without damage to other components.
Available Aftermarket Body Kits/Mods
Very few aftermarket body modifications are available for Cabrios, especially mk3.5 Cabrios, since most of its body parts are unique to that model, even though they look like mk4 golf parts.

Do not be fooled into buying parts listed as fitting both Mk4 Golf and Mk3.5 Cabrio! Only headlights and markers are interchangeable! Bumpers, grilles, and other parts are NOT.
